additional info
One of the benefits of using out of network benefits:
If you’re looking for a therapist who is highly specialized and experienced:
Many out-of-network therapists focus on specific areas of expertise or have highly specialized practices. If you’re dealing with with a particular issue or condition, it can be a good idea to look for someone outside of your insurance network who has deep experience and training in that specified area.
What to ask your insurance?
Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?
What percentage of the session fee will be reimbursed?
Is there a deductible, and if so, how much of it has been met?
How do I submit a claim for out-of-network services?
To assist you in using your out-of-network benefits, we will provide you what is called a Superbill, which includes the information for that session that your insurance plan will likely require. Follow your insurance provider’s instructions to submit it for reimbursement.
Fear using out of network benefits?
Not in the mood for dealing with forms and just want to get well? We would suggest using mentaya.com: they will take the headache out of dealing with your insurance while helping you get reimbursed.
