I’ve been in private practice for nearly 2 decades. I have experience working in numerous mental health settings, which include working as a Clinical Supervisor at Robert Wood Johnson-Somerset (both inpatient and outpatient settings), Princeton House Behavioral Health, GenPsych P.C., and Somerset Medical Center.

I work best with clients who are experiencing anxiety, trauma and depression. I’ve been trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR). I’m currently a candidate at The Center for Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis. I am also currently pursuing Level I trauma training at the Sensorimotor Institute. I am a Clinical Supervisor for graduate students that are working on receiving clinical hours toward licensure. I have also been certified as a Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) as of 2022.

I believe that everyone has an ability to change, as well as a capacity to foster bravery and courage to face their fears and insecurities. In addition to years spent working in non-profit and community mental health services, I have been a practicing licensed clinical social worker in NJ since 2010, with experience treating individuals struggling with mood, anxiety and trauma-related disorders. I also have clinical experience treating people struggling with addictions, as well as problems regulating their emotions and behaviors.

In my career, I have completed the Foundational Training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), as well as the Basic Training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR). I also utilize a psychodynamic orientation to psychotherapy. In addition to working with therapy clients in our practice, I am a Clinical Supervisor to associate-level therapists working in other private-practice settings in the field.

I am always seeking to understand the person before me, not just their problem. I prioritize creating an accepting environment to anyone who walks through the door.
